Reentry-Housing

What is Reentry?
Reentry is a program designed to assist former inmates and parolees to obtain housing, employment, a solid home church, counseling, and practical life skills. Some programs are fee-based and others offer services at no charge. Ebenezer Outreach Ministry’s primary focus is to offer quality Christian-based resources; however, we are not opposed to listing non-Christian, clean and sober living resources. We do request that Secular referrals have high standards and be organizations that are centered on basic moral teachings.

Ebenezer Outreach Ministry strives to verify the information we have obtained from other agencies and sources. If our records do not reflect the correct information, please help update our resource list by sending us an email so that we can update your listing. To be listed as a Christian-based organization you must agree to our Statement of Faith. Please read the tenets of our faith carefully. If you agree with our doctrinal statement, enter, “Christ Centered Ministry” below. Otherwise, please make an entry that best describes your organization. Along with the following basic information needed to be included in our free resource listing, please include a brief description of the services you provide, any fees required, and the gender served by your organization.

Stories of Hope

These stories from inmates we serve will educate, inform, and attempt to enlighten you regarding the inmates who eventually will be returning to our local community.
To those already involved in prison ministry, whether you minister in a prison as a Chaplain or volunteer or choose to provide financial resources, your donation of time and money has eternal value. In a large sense, what you are doing truly dispels the notion that “once a criminal, always a criminal.”

To the reader who has yet to participate in prison ministry, may your heart open and may you be challenged to become involved.
